Saudi Arabia announces new 67 coronavirus cases

RIYADH, March 18 (KUNA) Saudi Ministry of Health said Wednesday 67 new people have been infected with the coronavirus.
It added in a press statement 45 people came from Britain, Turkey, Spain, Switzerland, France, Indonesia and Iraq. They were all placed in quarantine.
Eleven cases came in close contact with previous patients and 11 being tested, it said.
The ministry said number of registered cases reach 238, of them six recovered.

OMAN

Oman confirmed on Wednesday six new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of cases in the Sultanate to 39, according to the ministry of health.

The ministry of health said in a statement that two of the six cases involved Omani nationals who traveled to Spain, and two others of Omani nationals who traveled to a Gulf state, while the last two cases were linked to individuals who traveled to Iran without identifying their nationalities.

QATAR

The Qatari Ministry of Public Health said on Wednesday that it detected 10 new cases of coronavirus in the country, raising the total number of cases to 452.

The ministry said in a statement that the new cases were registered among the expatriate population, in addition to a case involving a Qatari citizen who returned recently from Switzerland.

It added that all those affected were under quarantine.

BAHRAIN

Bahrain detected 14 new cases of the deadly coronavirus on Wednesday, raising the total number of active cases in the country to 167, according to data recorded by the Ministry of Health.
