Salwa Al-Sabah Club Wins Women’s Volleyball League Title

KUWAIT CITY, April 19: The Salwa Al-Sabah Club team emerged as champions of the Women’s Volleyball League by winning three out of five matches in the final round of the tournament, defeating the Al-Fatah Club team who secured second place.

The Kuwait Club secured third place by defeating the Al-Ayoun Girls Club in the decisive match with a score of three games to two, after both teams were tied with two matches each.

Following the match, the President of the Volleyball Association, Abdulhadi Al-Shabib, a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Badr Al-Kous, the President of the Salwa Club, Sheikha Naima Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the head of the Women’s Committee, Dr. Balsam Al-Ayoub from the Kuwait Club, distributed medals to the players of the three teams and presented the league shield to the Salwa Club.
