Salaries of 207 employees for not complying with fingerprint system

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 24: The Ministry of Information has stopped paying the salaries of 207 employees in its various sectors for not complying with the fingerprint system and said this decision comes in implementation of the instructions issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC), reports Al-Jarida daily. The sources told the daily the ministry has discovered a lot of discrepancies and the lack of commitment by some employees mark the attendance and in coordination with the CSC the two sides took this step which is consistent with the recommendations of regulatory authorities that stress the on need for the employees to adhere to the fingerprint system at their workplaces.

The sources added there are a large number of employees who believe that the fingerprint is not linked with the CSC and therefore they continued to exceed several months, during which the percentage of their commitment to the fingerprint varied, stressing that the ministry does not seek to oppress any of its employees, but at the same time the concerned authorities cannot overlook such behavior as some employees continue to violate the rules and regulations.
