KUWAIT CITY, June 4: The second round of the 21st Jabriya Martyrs Futsal Tournament, which is being organized by Jabriya Cooperative Society at Mohammed Ismail Al-Ghanim Hall under the sponsorship and in the presence of the Board Chairman of Jabriya Cooperative Society Hussain Mahmoud Dashti, kicks off on Sunday with four strong matches.

The first match will be between the teams of Martyr Mohamed Safar and Martyr Mousa Ashkanani, followed by an expected strong match between the teams of Martyr Mohammad Al-Durra and Martyr Ahmad Qabazard.

In the third match, the Martyr Najib Al-Rifai team will face the Martyr Mohammed Hamza team. The Martyr Waheed Safar team will face Martyr Ali Al-Qallaf team in the last match of second round.

Meanwhile, in the Day 3 matches, the Martyr Mohammed Safar team beat the Martyr Mohammed Ashkanani team with a score of 4-0. The Martyr Ahmad Kumbar team dismissed the Martyr Noura Attia team by 4-1.

The third match, in which the Martyr Asrar Al-Qabandi team played against the Martyr Yousef Malallah team, was the most intense and thrilling encounter. The game had ended in a draw of one goal each, leading to a penalty shootout which also ended with both teams reaching a draw. This forced the referees to conduct a draw (to choose the winner) which ended in favor of the Martyr Asrar Al-Qabandi team. However, the organizing committee decided to disqualify the results of the Martyr Asrar Al-Qabandi team for violating the regulations of the tournament. In this way, the Martyr Yousef Malallah team managed to sail through to the third round after all their hopes were gone.

The fourth match between the Martyr Sulaiman Al-Sharrah team and the Martyr Sana’a Al-Foudri team was also interesting, as it had ended in a draw with one goal each. The winning team, the Martyr Sana’a Al-Foudri team, was decided through penalty shootouts which they won by three goals while the Martyr Sulaiman Al-Sharrah team took two goals.
