SAB constitutes panels to probe ‘oil’ violations

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 10: The State Audit Bureau (SAB) has constituted committees to investigate some violations in the oil sector, hoping the sector will cooperate and be serious with the step taken to solve problems and deal with observations, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to a statement made by Assistant Undersecretary for Administration and Information Technology Essam Al-Mutairi during the inauguration of a training program on audit that will end on Sept 12 in collaboration with the Lebanese Audit Bureau, the effort is to ensure vibrant monitoring in all State institutions.

He emphasized the essence of cooperation among monitoring agencies so that their existence can be felt, in addition to contributing to capacity building and skills development at all levels
