KUWAIT CITY, June 1: Hard spikes and nerve-wracking, back-breaking moves filled the volleyball courts of Kazma Sports Club in Adailiya, as RSK Volleyball holds the 3rd and final week of its maiden tournament, its Season 1 Tournament.

Dubbed as “Fiesta Cup” similar to its sister club RSK Badminton, and with its theme “one league, one sport, a million fun” — indeed equivalent to a million fun was the day as the gym was fully crowded not only with the excited participants but also with spectators, friends and supporters of each team.

Ladies’ Division occupied the morning schedule as they hit it all out in the last round of games, which finally ended up with Blue Hour and Kaifan Eagles vying for the championship — an exhilarating 5-set match taking the schedule unexpectedly to overtime. Blue Hour eventually took the glory of being the first ladies’ team champion in RSK Volleyball’s first regular season.

In the afternoon, the no-mercy, hard-hitting men of volleyball went into their fiercest beast-mode as they wage war against each other’s team to grab the coveted title in their category. When the smoke clears, Kuwait Prix team finally triumphed and brought home the glory of being RSK Season 1 champion in the men’s division.
