Rotten fish coming from Arab country seized

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: Inspectors from the Food and Nutrition Authority Wednesday morning foiled the attempt of unidentified persons to smuggle huge quantities of inedible fish into the country, reports Annahar daily.

The cargo of fish stuffed in a refrigeration truck coming from an Arab country was stopped at the Al- Nuwaiseeb port. The fish was reportedly hidden at the back of the truck and no mention of the fish was made in the documents. Accordingly, the fish was confiscated and a case has been filed against the owner of the company. The contraband and the driver of the vehicle have been referred to the concerned authority
