Robbed at knifepoint; Taxi stolen from an Asian driver

UWAIT CITY, Feb 26: Police are looking for three unidentified people for breaking into a livestock pen of a Kuwaiti man and stealing 26 heads of cattle, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, the suspects who were armed with knives, threatened to kill the Asian shepherd if he raised the alarm and drove off with the sheep in a pickup van. However, the Kuwaiti told police he suspects the shepherd of collusion in the crime. Police are investigating.

Two steal taxi: Police are looking for two unidentified persons for stealing the taxi from an Asian driver, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, the men got in the taxi and asked the driver to take them to an unknown destination. However, on the way one of them, was sitting in the back seat, grabbed KD 19 from the man and when the driver stopped the taxi, the man got out and started running. The driver ran after him and the man who was in the back seat drove off with the taxi. The taxi was found parked in front of a school at an unidentified location.

Cable thieves sought: Police are looking for unidentified persons for stealing 16 cables from Burgan Oilfield site, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the suspects got into the site by breaking the lock on the main gate. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints.
