KUWAIT CITY, June 5: Department of General Hygiene and Road Works in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate carried out a campaign against hawkers in various parts of the governorate, during which they confiscated and destroyed 120 kilograms of watermelon, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
Director of the department Mulfi Al-Hawali issued a press statement in which he stressed that inspectors from the department carried out the raids against hawkers and took necessary legal measures against them. He urged the public to contact the department via Kuwait Municipality’s hotline number 139 or its accounts on social media to report any complaints. Al-Hawali affirmed that instant legal measures will be taken against those who violate the laws and regulations of Kuwait Municipality.
