The daily obtained a copy of the publication entitled, “The Elite of the Good”, in which the association revealed that the remains of Kuwaiti martyrs were found in five mass graves.

It stated that the largest number of Kuwaiti martyrs — 145 — were found in a mass grave in Samawah, followed by 82 in a mass grave in Iraq’s Karbala.

The association continued: 27 martyrs were found in a mass grave in Iraq Ramadi , 35 in Amarah and four in Kuwait’s Sabhan cemetery.

The association called for putting the names of the martyrs on the streets, boulevards or some squares and landmarks throughout Kuwait; specifically in front of the homes of these martyrs. It also recommended the establishment of a memorial in their name, inclusion of their biographies in the education curricula including stories of the families and martyrdom of this group, and the production of a huge artwork or more than one that documents the period of the Iraqi invasion and its repercussions; highlighting the heroism and resistance of the people of Kuwait at home, and the stories of families and martyrdom of the loyal sons and daughters of Kuwait.
