Record-high commercial licenses issued in one year – Al-Roudhan

KUWAIT CITY, May 28, (KUNA): Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan said his ministry issued more than 12,000 commercial licenses in just one year, which is an all-time record high.

This more than the aggregate figure achieved in several years, he said at a “Ghabqa” (an dinner banquet in the holy month of Ramadan) held by the ministry at Sheraton Kuwait on Sunday night.

Al-Roudhan appreciated the efforts made by the staffers of his ministry to realize the targets that have been set since the onset of his assumption of responsibility. At the function, the minister honored some outstanding staffers for their achievements that contributed to the successes of the ministry in various sectors, including consumer protection, control on commodities and inspection of businesses
