Rape attempted in sham wedding pledge

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 28: Police are looking for a young unidentified Kuwaiti for attempting to force a young woman to have sex with him after convincing her that he intends to marry her, reports Al-Anba daily. The woman in her complaint to the Abu Halifah police said the suspect said he was going to visit his sick mother and wants to introduce her to his mother and sister who was taking care of the mother. The ‘innocent’ woman fell for the trap and after arriving at the apartment she discovered there was none other than just the two of them. He then attempted to ‘make love’ to her several times and kept her with him inside the apartment for several hours and let her go when she resisted all his attempts. The Al-Rai daily said the suspect was high on alcohol and let the woman go after she screamed for help.

Hunt launched for ‘revellers’: Police are looking for people who took part in a ‘wild’ private party inside an apartment in Ahmadi, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, this came after the video clip of the party was posted on the social media showing drunk men and semi-clad women dancing indecently. A security source said one of person to the party sent the clip to his followers on the Snapchat and one of them sent it to others until it went viral. The source said the party was held during the Eid holiday. The organizers and participants are expected to be rounded up very soon, however, it is only a matter of time. Strict action is expected to be taken against them for committing immoral acts
