Ramadan timings – Working hours set for 22 authorities

KUWAIT CITY, May 16: Civil Service Commission (CSC) has specified working hours for some 22 authorities in the Holy Month of Ramadan and their employees will be working four hours and thirty minutes per day except Fridays and Saturdays starting from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon, reports Al-Qabas daily.

An informed source said CSC will distribute circular to the authorities in question regarding the decision. He also said other state authorities will work from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Sectors that will open from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon include the Ministries of Awqaf, Justice, Public Works, Higher Education, Communication, Education and Information, in addition to official authorities like Customs, Fire Services and National Council for Culture, Arts and letters.
