Qatar tops life expectancy among Arabs states – Japan highest

KUWAIT CITY, June 30: According to a report issued by Ministry of Health, Kuwait and Qatar take top place among Arab countries in terms of average life expectancy, reports Aljarida daily. The report explained that the average life expectancy is 79.1 years for Kuwaiti men, and 80 years for Kuwaiti women.

The average life expectancy is 79 years for men in Qatar, and 80 years for Qatari women. The average life expectancy for men in Lebanon is 78 years, and for women 82 years. In Saudi Arabia, it is 74 years for men and 79 years for women. The average life expectancy in Bahrain is 74 years for men and 78 years for women. In the United Arab Emirates, it is 76 years for men and 78 years for women. In Oman, it is 74 years for men and 79 years for women.

Japan recorded the highest life expectancy rate in the world with 80 years for men and 87 years for women, followed by New Zealand with 80 years for men and 84 years for women, Britain with 79 years for men and 83 years for women, Sweden with 80 years for men and 84 years for women and the United States of America with 76 years for men and 81 years for women
