Qatar registers its first four cases of Omicron

DOHA, Dec 17: The Qatari Ministry of Public Health stated that it had detected the first four cases of COVID 19 variant Omicron in the country. It said the four infected people were Qataris and expats who had returned from abroad, and that they were in quarantine. The ministry also stated that three out of four infected individuals had already received 2 doses of COVID19 vaccine more than 6 months back, while the other case did not receive vaccination.
