Qatar records first infection with coronavirus

DOHA, Feb 29 (KUNA) — Qatari Ministry of Health declared on Saturday registering first case of infection with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The ministry said in a statement the case was of a Qatari man, aged, 36. The latter was among a group of Qataris who were evacuated by air from Iran on Thursday.
He had been admitted at the contagious diseases center and placed under quarantine, the statement said, noting that his condition was stable.
Medical personnel began examining persons who were close to the patient
