PSA holds Kuwait Expat League 2017/2018

The Premier Sport Academy (PSA) — Celtic FC, under the sponsorship of Porsche Centre Kuwait, Behbehani Motors Company, held The Kuwait Expat League 2017/2018. Four months of competitive matches involving eight teams from the expat community in Kuwait taking place every Tuesday evening at the PSA Celtic ground in Bayan.

After a closely contested competition the Salwa Barmy Army (SBA) team captained by Bill Broadhurst were well deserved Champions with some fantastic performances, Vision Academy (VAA) team captained by J.T. Walters clinched the runners up spot. Top Scorer Award went to Jack Saunders from SBA team who won the Golden Boot with an impressive 29 goal tally.

Celtic Executive Director Baker Al-Nazer and League Organiser James McAllister presented individual trophies and gifts and thanked the British Officials — Ryan McAllister, Andy Cook and Kai Stone. The defending champions SBA and Runners Up VAA will now compete with teams from International Schools and expat teams and last year’s Cup Champions 2017 — Kuwait Football Legends (KFL) in the Expat Cup 2018.
