The group was based at Futbol Salou in Tarragona along with several other international clubs. The Under 12 team played several games and recorded two wins and three draws against Spanish opposition with star player Abdulaziz voted player of the week. Meanwhile the Under 16s enjoyed a thrilling 3-1 victory against FC Santes Crues, Abdelhadi and Mohammed Mishmish were on the scoresheet. Coaching sessions for all the players were conducted by Spanish Academy coaches Marc, Reuben and Gerard and included an insight into the Smart Football program and  video match analysis, focussing on player development.

In addition to a packed week of footballing activities, there was an afternoon of sightseeing in Barcelona on board an open top bus to round off a memorable tour. Players are now eagerly looking forward to the next overseas tournament, taking place in Dubai next month. Daily football coaching sessions are conducted at the PSA Everton venue in Bayan Block 7, Street 302, next to Abdullah Al Rujaib High School and boys and girls of all ages are welcome to attend.
