Prosecutor plans warrant on Dashti

KUWAIT CITY, June 17: The Public Prosecution plans to issue an international arrest warrant against MP Dr Abdul Hameed Dashti who is facing several criminal charges that could sour relations with neighboring countries of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, reports Al-Jarida daily.

According to reliable sources, the Public Prosecutor has recently received three new complaints filed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia bringing the total number of complaints filed against Dashti to nine.

The sources pointed out Dashti has exceeded the limit and has gone on to abuse both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain without caring for the consequences although he is a lawyer and a lawmaker and knows very well that his acts are punishable by law. The case will be handed over to the international police to arrest and bring back Dashti to Kuwait.
