Policeman fined KD 3,000 for verbally abusing and refusing to salute

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15:  The Court of Cassation has fined a policeman KD 3,000 for verbally abusing and refusing to salute an officer, reports Al-Qabas daily. During deliberations, the court was convinced that it was a deliberate act.

8 held with drugs: A total of eight individuals were arrested in Jahra Governorate in possession of various drugs and drug paraphernalia, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, Jahra securitymen arrested three Kuwaiti citizens near the water towers in Waha area for consuming drugs and possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. One of them was discovered to be wanted by law for his involvement in a financial case worth KD 50,000. Meanwhile, Jahra securitymen arrested five drug addicts in Taima area in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. All eight suspects were referred with the confiscated items to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.
