Policeman detained for smoking sheesha inside a café while on duty

KUWAIT CITY, July 16: Personnel from the Control and Inspection Department at the Interior Ministry have arrested a policeman for smoking sheesha inside a café while on duty, reports Al-Rai daily. The arrest came after his picture smoking sheesha in police uniform went viral in the social media. The Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security, Major-General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, has ordered the detention of the policeman for 20 days for violating rules and regulations of the Ministry of the Interior. The rules and regulations forbid policemen to sit in cafés and public places while in uniform. The policeman has been sent to the military prison.
