Police probe death of Asian found in Mahboula

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 2: An Asian man was found dead in a vacant lot in Mahboula and the cause of death has yet to be established. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after the Operations Unit at the Interior Ministry received a call from a passerby who saw the man lying unconscious on the ground. Upon arrival at the scene, the rescuers looked into the condition of the man and they discovered he was already dead. According to security sources, the man’s body had no marks that he was a victim of violent or criminal action. His remains were referred to the Criminal Evidence Department. Investigations are ongoing to identify the man and determine the actual cause of his death. In another incident, a Bangladeshi restaurant employee died after suffering from a heart problem while he was at work in Fahaheel. His colleagues told investigators that he felt sudden chest pains so he was rushed to Adan Hospital where he died.

Iranian held: An Iranian expatriate involved in a criminal case was arrested by security operatives in Saad Al-Abdullah area after they discovered that an order had been issued for his deportation. A security source said the officers were on a round of the area when they spotted the suspect near a branch of the cooperative society and asked for his civil ID. To their surprise, the suspect took to his heels, but he was chased and arrested and referred to the concerned authority
