PCR tests from any lab accepted provided it does not exceed 72 hours

KUWAIT CITY, June 8: The Ministry of Education said the result of the PCR tests issued by any laboratory accredited by the Ministry of Health will be accepted, provided PCR test report does not exceed 72 hours before the start of the first round of exams for the Grade 12 students, reports Al-Seyassah daily. The ministry said in a press statement that the commitment of students to the specified hours according to the schedule prepared in advance for the PCR examination in all educational areas helps to complete the test in time without waiting for the last minute and at the same time it will help avoid crowding at the schools.

The sources said the ministry is working to facilitate the procedures and protect the safety of everyone, and called on the male and female students to adhere to the schedule for take the PCR test, which has been arranged alphabetically, as well as in schools designated for taking the swab by the Ministry of Health team according to each educational region. On the other hand, the Director of Educational Affairs of the Mubarak Al- Kabeer Educational Zone, Amal Al-Ruwaished, inspected yesterday the PCR test center in Jaber Al-Ali High School, to check on the application of health requirements and precautionary measures before the start of paper exams for the Grade 12 students for 2020/2021 academic year.
