PCR certificate required only for those airports which demand

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 24: The General Administration of Civil Aviation confirmed today that the accreditation and licensing of laboratories to conduct a PCR examination for Covid 19 virus and determine the price of the examination is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health.

The DGCA stated “We welcome many more accredited laboratories in Kuwait that would facilitate the passengers who wish to travel” they further stated that “We would like to clarify that a PCR examination certificate is required only for the airports that require this certificate.”

DGCA further stated that “We recommend that travelers, before issuing the ticket, inquire from the airline or the Tourism and Travel Bureau about the procedures that are applied at the airport to which he will travel because the procedures differ from one airport to another and are updated from time to time.”
