Pakistanis nabbed for drug trafficking

KUWAIT CITY, April 26: The Farwaniya police have arrested four Pakistanis for trafficking in drugs, reports Annahar daily. The daily added, the suspects were picked up from Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The men were reportedly sitting on the pavement of a building and when they saw the police, they attempted to escape but were chased and arrested.

13 tutors arrested: Head of the inspection team at the Manpower Public Authority Mohammed Al-Thufairi said 13 expatriate teachers have been arrested for giving private tuitions, reports Annahar daily. The daily added, the teachers were seized inside coffee shops. Al-Thufairi added eight of these teachers are working in the private sector, four in public schools and one came to the country on dependent visa. The teachers were seized during a crackdown organized by the department upon instructions from the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Hind Al-Subaih in collaboration with the Residence Affairs detectives of the Ministry of Interior.
