Pakistani truck driver caught smuggling 6 people into Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 27: Security officers at the Salmi border crossing recently foiled the attempt of a Pakistani truck driver to smuggle six people (three Pakistanis, a Bangladeshi and an Egyptian) into Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to security sources the six men are reportedly wanted by the Saudi authorities for various reasons and each of them allegedly paid the Pakistani 5,000 riyals.

The men were caught by the vehicles inspection control team at the Al-Salmi border post. They carried no identification papers and were subsequently handed over to the State Security. They are expected to be handed over to the Saudi authorities
