Farwaniya Governor holds talks with security officers

KUWAIT CITY, April 16: Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Mishal Al-Jaber Al-Sabah held in his office an extended meeting with the security officials in the governorate in the presence of Director General of Farwaniya Security Directorate Major General Abdullah Al-Ali, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

During the meeting, they reviewed the overall security issues and plans in the governorate under the exceptional circumstances that the country is experiencing to confront the emerging coronavirus.

They discussed the role of securitymen in implementing the decision for the complete lockdown of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area and the decision to impose curfew in other areas as well as the commitment of citizens and residents.

Sheikh Mishal stressed the importance of providing all means for facilitating the affairs of the people of the governorate in all areas, and taking the necessary measures to provide required food items in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.

He said, “Our role and national duty require us to work on ensuring the comfort of citizens and residents during this period.” Sheikh Mishal highlighted the great role of securitymen and the heavy responsibility placed on them. He urged the public to cooperate with the officials of Ministry of Interior in a way that contributes to spreading peace to everyone.

Sheikh Mishal praised the great efforts exerted by securitymen, and thanked all the authorities for their cooperation with the governorate and their keenness to deal with all obstacles during this period. He beseeched Almighty Allah to protect Kuwait and its people from all harm.
