KUWAIT CITY, Sept 11: A committee formed by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is preparing preliminary report including a recommendation to withdraw the licenses of real estate brokers because 60 percent of these offices – which amounts to more than 5,000 – violate the law and are run by expatriates, reports Al-Shahed daily quoting knowledgeable sources.

The sources said the Ministry of Commerce is determined to eliminate the hold on real estate by non-Kuwaiti brokers.
