KD 5 for for Civil ID issuance, KD 20 for replacement of Civil ID

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: State Minister for Cabinet Affairs, acting Minister of Electricity and Water and Board Chairman of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah issued ministerial Decision No. 1/2016 on increasing fees for services offered by the authority, reports Al- Qabas daily.

The decision that was published in the official gazette recently stipulates new fees as follows: KD 5 for issuance of the civil ID for the first time, renewal and to change the photo or data; KD 20 for issuance of replacement civil ID and KD 2 for the issuance of civil ID without the electronic chip.

Article Two of the decision stipulates application of previous resolutions and rules in this regard as of April 1.
