KPC approves return of former deputy CEO of KIPIC

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 3: The new board of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) held its first meeting headed by Minister of Oil and Minister of Electricity and Water Dr Khalid Al-Fadhel and CEO of KPC Hashim Sayed Hashim, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to reliable sources, KPC’s board discussed the formation of committees from KPC’s board as well as several topics and issues related to the work and projects of the oil sector during the next phase in order to pave way for enhancing development and dealing with current and future challenges in the oil industries.

KPC’s board affirmed the need to push forward the wheel of development for major enterprises and enhance the performance of KPC and its subsidiaries in the next phase. Meanwhile, the board of directors of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has approved the decision to rehire Deputy CEO and acting CEO of Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) Hatem Al-Awadi following the acceptance of his resignation one month ago, reports Al-Anba daily quoting informed sources. They revealed that the KIPIC board will hold a meeting soon concerning this decision.
