KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26, (KUNA): Kuwait’s State Audit Bureau (SAB) has underlined the necessity to keep abreast of the latest advancements in the audit industry, saying it proves crucial for overall growth and development. The remarks by SAB’s acting chief Adel Al-Sarawi came amid a panel discussion with officials from China’s National Audit Office on Monday, which revolved around fighting corruption in the audit field.

He spoke of rapid changes in the audit industry, which behooves Kuwait’s state audit to employ the most cutting-edge methods in order to ensure steady progress. The official went on to thank the Kuwaiti auditors’ Chinese peers for their cooperation, saying such interaction with global audit bodies is necessary for overall growth and efficiency across the national audit spectrum. The talks shine light on the prevalence of corruption in every corner of society, making the scourge one of the most pressing problems global organizations have had to contend with, he added.
