KUWAIT CITY, June 1: A committee which was formed to look into the issue of citizenships which were withdrawn revealed the nationality of 50 people will be reinstated before the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, reports Al- Anba daily quoting reliable source from the committee.
The source the report is seen just as ‘consultation’ and is expected to be submitted to higher authorities for review and action.
However, the source claiming anonymity said the higher authorities are expected to reinstate the nationalities of these 50 people after a sovereign decision in this regard is issued before the end of Ramadan. The source reiterated the committee’s recommendation is not binding, but is issued in the advisory capacity
