Multiple raids net 50 Asians involved in prostitution; US citizen reported dead

KUWAIT CITY, July 1: Personnel from the Home Employment Department recently raided many locations in Fahaheel because they were used for illegal activities including prostitution were women who had escaped from their sponsors were making a brisk business, reports Al- Shahed daily.

A security source during the raid 50 Asians were taken into custody — men and women. The source added the raiding party included male and female police officers. In one incident police discovered a Kuwaiti had rented the entire first floor of his apartment to Asians for flesh trade.

US citizen reported dead
The remains of an unidentified US citizen have been referred to Forensics to identify the cause of death, reports Al-Rai daily.

The security sources said the death was reported to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry by an unidentified Filipina.

In her report the Filipina said the American is known to her and he was paying a visit. A short time after he arrived, he dropped dead on the floor. The corpse was taken to the Criminal Evidences Department by paramedics.
