Motorist disregards orders, rams into police car hurting 2, flees in hot chase

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 21: The Fifth Ring Road witnessed a police chase when a reckless motorist, who was driving a 4×4 vehicle, disregarded the securitymen’s order for him to stop.

The security patrols initially trapped the reckless driver but he rammed his car into two police vehicles, causing injuries to two officers. He escaped from the scene even if one of his car tyres was punctured. The suspect’s vehicle was found in Andalus later.

The vehicle was taken to the police station and the officers took note of the plate number, which will be used as lead in arresting the driver and his companion who appeared disoriented according to a security source.

Meanwhile, police are looking for the reckless drivers who closed a street in Sulaibikhat a few days ago to perform car stunts. A security source affirmed these drivers will be arrested soon and their cars will be impounded.
