Mother helps police arrest drug addict son

KUWAIT CITY, March 2: Police have taken into custody an unidentified young man for possessing and consuming drugs, reports Al-Rai daily.
The arrest came after the addict’s mother complained to the police because he posed a danger to the family and himself, particularly his siblings because he appeared angry all the time and did things unlike a normal person.
The mother told the Hawalli police the ‘addict’ beat his younger brothers for no reason. She added, he often asked money to buy drugs and when the family refused he turned violent. He has been handed over to the General Department for Drugs Control (GDDC).
