MoSAL to continue policy of retiring 30 yrs in service employees: Minister – ‘Exercise vital to inject fresh blood’

KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, and Minister of State for Development and Planning Affairs Hind Al- Sabeeh said the ministry will continue with the policy of sending into retirement employees who have served the nation for 30 years or more irrespective of the status or seniority, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily.

Al-Sabeeh revealed the exercise is necessary to inject fresh blood into the system to enhance creativity and improvement of job with contemporary vision.

She declared the State Audit Bureau and the Budgets and Final Accounts Committee of the National Assembly has commended the ministry for taking into consideration observations made by the Audit Bureau to rectify the situation.

She indicated the ministry has taken all necessary legal steps to rectify the recorded observations and assured the ministry will prevent observations in future. She stressed the cooperative societies have improved in terms of profits compared to the previous year due to the presence of auditors.

She reiterated the method has protected the interests of shareholders. She added, the ministry will turn around the situation of cooperative activities to accomplish desirable objectives.
