Morocco postpones World Cup Shotgun over Covid-19

RABAT, Jan 15: The Royal Moroccan Shooting Sports Federation (FRMTS) announced Saturday that the 2022 World Cup Shotgun, scheduled to take place in Rabat next February, has been canceled due to measures taken to fight the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. This decision was also taken “because of the impossibility of organizing this international event given the decision to suspend flights, said the FRMTS in a statement. The federation noted that the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) welcomed the postponement due to the changing global health conditions imposed by the pandemic, adding that another date will be agreed later to organize the event in better conditions.
