Moroccan Cultural Week to run until Dec 13

Al-Hasouni Band kept a massive crowd entertained with Andalous music at the opening ceremony of the Moroccan Cultural Week on Sunday.
The event was held inside Abdul-Mohsen Abdul-Redha Auditorium in the presence of the Secretary General of National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters Engineer Ali Al-Youha, Ambassador of Morocco to Kuwait Ja’afar Hikmiyaj with several Arab and foreign envoys, and lovers of arts.

Ambassador Hikmiyaj expressed delight and pride that such an event could be held in Kuwait – the land of culture, ideas, kindness and virtue.
He said the cultural week is slated for Dec 9-13, and it’s an opportunity for the Embassy of Morocco, in collaboration with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters to make it a significant cultural forum where rich and diverse Moroccan culture will be displayed. He declared, “This will contribute to consolidate the bridge of cultural communication among citizens of both sisterly countries”.
