KUWAIT CITY, May 20: The third day of the 39th edition of the Late Abdullah Mishari Al-Roudan Football Tournament (Futsal) witnessed the wins of Mondial Hisham Fulath (Bahrain) and Al-Nasr Club (Emirates), whereas the game between Just Clean and Dar Al-Mohamadia ended without a goal from both sides.

The first match between Mondial Hisham Fulath and Martyr Fahd Al-Ahmad was characterized by thrill and suspense up to the final minute with the Bahraini team defeating its opponent by two goals to one. All of the goals were scored in the second half of the match by Mahmoud Ringo, Ali Al-Alwani (Mondial) and Muhammad Nassar (Martyr Fahd Al-Ahmad).

The second match was between Just Clean and Dar Al-Mohamadia which ended with a goalless draw. Both teams demonstrated high level of defensive tactics which became difficult to infiltrate due to the excellent performance of goalkeepers Muhammad Al-Hazeem (Just Clean) and Saleh Al-Hamadi (Dar). Al-Hazeem won the best goalkeeper of the day.

The final game of the day witnessed a five-goal win by Al- Nasr Club (Emirates) over West Gulf Real Estate Company which managed to score one consolation goal. Al-Nasr’s goals were scored in a ‘super hatrick’ by Brazilian Alex and a goal by his teammate Ahmad Al-Shammeri, whereas the opponent’s goal was scored by Najeeb Aloushi. The fourth day of the tournament will witness three matches.

The first match will be between Holiday Inn and Refrigeration Industries-Coolex, followed by Late Abdullah Al-Medlej against My Bill (My Fatoorah), and the third match will be between Boubyan Bank and Staff of the Land Department. In the amateur category, Boshamis team defeated Barcelona Stars by a goal to zero and the winning goal was scored by Khalil Faisal.

In the second match, Atlas Elevators defeated Lebanese Orz Academy by a goal to nothing which was scored by Abdul- Rahman Zuheir, and the third match saw the Syrian team defeating Al-Ahli Football Academy by also a goal to nothing scored by Ahmad Riyadh. Today’s matches will be between Abul vs Cruzero, Al-Shabaab vs Strikers, and Eng Dhari Al-Murshid will clash against the Jordanian team.
