MOI solves murder mystery in 48 hrs

KUWAIT, May 1: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior stated that they managed to arrest the accused in case No. 12/2020, who committed murder within 48 hours of discovering the crime.

Sources stated that investigation team collected video clips from surrounding CCTV cameras around the location of the incident and after monitoring the footages it was found that a Arab national was behind this.

On of the secret sources identified the accused immediately and the security men issued a arrest warrant and arrested him within 48 hours of discovering the crime.

The accused admitted that he had killed the victim after he purchased the weapon which was used to commit the crime from a commercial market and he had disposed of the victim’s clothes by throwing them in a garbage container and also disposed of the weapon by throwing it into the sea

The Public Relations Department stated that the accused was being transferred to the jurisdiction to take the necessary action against him (KUNA)
