MoI female employee arrested for drugs

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 23: A Kuwaiti woman who works at Ministry of Interior was arrested in possession of drugs, reports Al-Shahed daily. According to security sources, the woman tried to escape from a security checkpoint but Ahmadi securitymen chased and caught her. They checked her vehicle to find narcotic pills. She was arrested and referred with the drugs to the Directorate General for Drugs Control for necessary legal action against her. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti woman has been referred to the Psychology Medicine Hospital after she tried to end her life, reports Al-Shahed daily.

Initially, securitymen patrolling in Sulaibiya area arrested the woman after discovering she is wanted by law for financial claim. She was then referred to the Sentences Enforcement Department where she behaved hysterically, vandalized the office and tried to slit her wrist after smashing a glass on a desk.

In an another incident security operatives attached to the Public Security Command apprehended a Bedoun in possession of Shabu and its paraphernalia at Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. The officers ordered the suspect to pull over when they noticed his reckless driving. Immediately he alighted from the car, the officers realized that he was disoriented, so they conducted a search on him and found the illicit items.
