MOH: Special team of remedy and preventive measures for coronavirus

Kuwait – May 19: Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs of the Kuwait Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Mutairi, revealed the efforts represented in its technical departments to form a special team for Corona virus for remedial and preventive measures to respond to the pandemic ( Covid 19).
Dr. Al-Mutairi told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today that the team responsible for treatment protocols and recommendations has been formed and periodically updated in line with international organizations, especially the World Health Organization and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
He explained that the team had developed many plans for the pathways, flow, and treatment of patients (Corona) in both public and field hospitals.
As for the general hospitals, he stated that units have been established outside the hospitals to sort the suspected cases in record time so that their paths can be determined from the beginning of their arrival to the hospital until they are admitted to the wards or intensive care according to the case, indicating an increase in the clinical capacity, medical personnel, medical and pharmaceutical equipment and personal protective supplies.
On the level of support hospitals, between the competent departments of the Ministry equipped many field hospitals in all affected areas, in addition to public hospitals and quarries, in a very short time with tremendous and distinguished efforts from all sectors.
On the level related to the mechanism of evacuating citizens from abroad, he stressed that it was planned in advance by the Ministry represented in the technical departments and all other sectors, each in its field, where more than 30 thousand citizens were evacuated with outstanding and distinguished efforts for the Ministry’s workers in sorting patients and preparing the (Shlonk) application and the electronic bracelet And conducting swabs for Coffed 19.
With regard to quarries, he mentioned that the Ministry has established a number of quarries and equipped them with cadres and medical and administrative equipment to receive stable positive cases as well as to isolate contacts.
He affirmed the Ministry of Health’s keenness to protect its medical personnel, as many hotels and housing were provided to isolate the medical staff working in the first classes from their families for those who do not have the ability to isolate themselves from their families.
Al-Mutairi expressed gratitude and gratitude to all the medical, technical and administrative cadres working in the first ranks for their tremendous and distinguished efforts.
