MOH begins field testing for coronavirus in various parts of the country

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 22: The Ministry of Health has launched a field testing campaign for the emerging corona virus, which causes “COVID-19”, in different regions of the country.

Commenting on the start of the campaign to conduct a comprehensive field survey on the emerging corona virus in all areas of Kuwait Dr. Buthainah Al-Mudaf Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health stated that the campaign started with the areas where the virus had appeared, according to the “epidemiological investigation”, in order to search for and limit the source of the outbreak.
This comes within the plans of the Ministry of Health to confront the Corona virus and limit its spread, praising the support of the Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah and the Deputy Minister Dr. Mustafa Reda to overcome all obstacles.

The Ministry’s mobile team takook random smears and measures the temperature and the percentage of oxygen in the blood to detect any infection with Covid-19.

In the Capital Governorate, Governor Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled supervised the examination and quarantine of more than 1,000 workers who live in 4 buildings in Sharq and Al-Mirqab regions.

Al-Khaled thanked the Public Health Undersecretary at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Buthaina Al-Mudhaf, and the medical and security staff in the front rows for facing Corona.
