Mishaab dominates Class-1 horse race

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: The horse “Mishaab” from Shalahi Stable won the cup, which was sponsored by the heirs of the late Sheikh Abdul- Mubarak Al-Sabah, for the 2,800-meter race for Class-1 horses after finishing the race in 03:03:04 minutes. According to a press release, the event was held at Farwaniya Equestrian Club. The cup was given to the winning stable by the representative of the sponsors Sheikh Abdullah Khaled Al-Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, as well as the Chairmaon of Farwaniya Equestrian Club Mubarak Al-Daihani.

The second place winner was the horse “Sayyaf” from Sayhan Stable, while the third place went to the horse “Summayya” from Adhilah Stable. Meanwhile, the horse “Akhu Najlihi” from Qanni Stable won the cup, also sponsored by the heirs of the late Sheikh Abdul-Mubarak Al-Sabah, for 1,200-meter race for Class-2 horses after finishing the race in 01:12:04 minutes. It was closely followed by the horse “Wabdan” from Sahyan Stable in second place, and the horse “Mautini” from Hayyan Stable in third place. In the 1,600-meter race for Class-3 horses, the horse “Shaghaal” from Al-Awadhi Stable had a comfortable win after clocking 01:41:28 minutes, followed by the horse “Lauyun Nasser” from Shalahi Stable in second place, and the horse “Takbeer” from Shalahi Stable in third place
