Ministry reiterates crackdown on those who cheat in exams

KUWAIT CITY, May 23: Despite tough measures adopted by the Ministry of Education to counter the phenomenon of cheating, some students continue to violate the regulations which threaten their future, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The daily added, on the first two of the exams, dozens of students from Grade 12 were caught cheating. In one of the examination halls, an unfortunate incident happened.

One student who was using a miniature earphone to cheat in exams started bleeding and the device had to be extracted from his ear with great difficulty.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Education has said it is determined not to be lenient with those who cheat.
