Ministry of Commerce shuts 3 more stores for not adhering to precautionary measures

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 18: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry closed today 3 commercial stores and vegetable stands that did not adhere to decision implemented in fight against the spread of coronavirus (Covid 19).

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the MOCI said that the concerned teams have audited and searched 238 pharmacies, while 72 commercial stores were booked for violating the laws, in addition to 9 stores were reopened after undertaking and oath to adhere to rules and regulation.
Sources added that the inspection teams monitored 23 branches of the supply centers and a bakery affiliated to the Kuwait Flour Mills Company to facilitate sales and find out the workflow mechanism.
