Ministry of Education warns new teachers not to indulge in political issues

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 6: Ministry of Education has warned newly contracted not to indulge in political issues and stay away from social media unless it is related to their work. The ministry has also warned the teachers to stay away from issues which stir sectarianism, tribalism and doctrinal strife in schools and everything that may harm the reputation of the country.

This came during lectures given by number of senior officers of the ministry during training courses on issues such as the educational, administrative and legal aspects.

The six educational directorates began their courses yesterday, and the Director-General of the Capital Educational Directorate Badriya Al-Khalidi confirmed 13 Palestinian teachers out of the total 97 had been hired.
