Member of the ruling family shoots ‘self’

KUWAIT CITY, July 14: A member of the ruling family died of unconfirmed reasons, but possibly after being shot by his own weapon by mistake while cleaning it, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information that an individual shot himself in Mishref area, securitymen rushed to the location and discovered that the deceased is a member of the ruling family.

Preliminary investigations revealed that he shot himself while cleaning his weapon. The corpse has been referred to the Forensics Department. A case was registered, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of his death.
