Disclosing the team conducted a study on the possibility of establishing a platform for the registration of these expatriates, sources said Al-Aqeel asked the government agencies to submit a list of expatriate employees who have been unable to return to Kuwait due to the precautionary measures taken recently to curb the spread of coronavirus; including the decision to ban the citizens of 32 countries from entering Kuwait until further notice.

Sources explained the proposed platform is similar to the one utilized during the implementation of the government’s plan for the return of citizens who were stranded abroad, reports Al-Jarida daily quoting informed sources..  Sources said the platform will be used for the registration of expatriates who will be determned by the team based on Kuwait’s need for their services; stressing that priority will be given to workers in the Ministry of Health, especially doctors, as their services are vital in the ongoing fight against corona.
