Manhunt launched for burglar

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4: Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify a burglar who reportedly targeted a shopping center in Fahaheel, reports Al-Anba daily. The suspect, wearing a mask, reportedly managed to hide inside the shopping center until everyone had left the place and later tried to break open the ATM machine of a local bank but failed due to the system protection. He then opened the cash machines but found no money inside. The source explained the thief is well versed with the know-how about the place since he was easily able to escape from the back door, the only exit, after breaking the door lock, which can be broken only from the inside. The guard said he was sleeping and did not sense anything unusual.
